FAQ
How do you photograph?
I love being by your side to help you get the best possible photos. There is never a rush and I try to establish a connection with my clients to put them at ease and get natural looking photos. I will work with you to establish a vision for your session beforehand to make sure you are totally satisfied. I prefer prompts and movement more than strict poses. Let's have some fun during your session!
What do I do with my hands???
I will talk you through all posing so you don't ever need to worry about feeling uncomfortable or awkward. No experience is needed, just bring a relaxed attitude and be ready to have fun!
What should I wear?
Please wear whatever makes you happy and comfortable! I do suggest considering neutrals and muted colors over bright/flashy outfits for the best and most timeless images. That said, your style is a part of who you are and I want you to embrace that however it feels right for you.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm Boston area based and yes I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, I will travel up to 1 hour for free. Beyond this there is a nominal fee to cover expenses.
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all of your edited photos within a maximum of 3 weeks (less for headshots and portrait sessions). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints! I will also do my best to provide a sneak preview of the gallery within 48 hours, if applicable.
How many pictures will we receive?
This varies based on the type of session and is detailed above. I always choose quality rather than quantity. I will choose the best and more significant photos to tell your story while attempting to capture every precious moment possible.
How will I get my photos?
You will receive your edited images in a password protected online gallery. You can download from there and even order prints!
Who owns the photos?
You do! As part of working with me, you get all rights to the edited photos and will own them forever to do with as you please.
Do you do referral discounts?
Yes! If you refer a friend and they book with me, you get your choice of the following for your upcoming appointment:
